A half-bull, half-human youkai whose birth was a mere result of a king doing an act of blasphemy upon a God. She’s referred to as the Minotaur.
Despite being an unprecedented member of the family, her early life was surrounded by riches and privilege due to her royal status. As the years went by, her strength started growing at accelerated rates thanks to her hybrid nature. Because of this, the oracle from the kingdom she resided on feared that her exponential strength could lead to its destruction, tasking the King to disown her.
Despite being reluctant to obey the commands sent by the oracle, the King was threatened to be dethroned by his kingdom after getting several complaints on how his half-bull daughter has been causing various mischiefs.
Valuing his royal status over his monstruous daughter, he tasked several henchmen to build a giant labyrinth so that she would never be able to escape. Thus, Miyachi was imprisoned in this complex building at a very young age, never to be seen again for years.
Despite being trapped in this seemingly eternal prison for the safety of the kingdom, the oracle continued tasking the King to send soldiers into the labyrinth occasionally as an attempt to slay the beast... but they never returned.
Miyachi’s exponential strength has reached beyond what an adult human is capable of, to the point that she was able to subdue anyone who attempted to dispatch her, with little to no effort. Her solitude in the labyrinth drove her into insanity to the point that she was determined to grow her own strength by consuming anyone who stands in her way, with the ultimate goal of destroying the Gods that brought her into existence.
However, after she slew the final soldier that was sent into the labyrinth, she realized how her overwhelming strength was exactly what the oracle was worried about. The kingdom stopped sending more people into the labyrinth out of fear that they’re being used as sustenance for the Minotaur, but Miyachi realized how it isn’t worth it to sacrifice her brethren to increase her own uncontainable power. Despite still feeling resentful towards the Gods that cursed her with her current life, and having desires to see the outside again, she decided to willingly seclude herself into the labyrinth.
A monster that possesses God-like strength that doesn’t need nourishment, nor sheathing for her protection; she decided that the world doesn’t deserve to know about her existence.
Years have passed, the labyrinth has migrated to Gensokyo, and a new person has entered it to investigate the cause of the thunderstorm. Instead of murdering the newcomer relentlessly, the Minotaur instead decided to test their wits.
Realizing that the protagonist holds a power from the God King, Miyachi realized the opportunity at hand to save everyone, including herself...
