For albums that tells a story or explores a concept through the lyrics. This isn't really a good explanation so I'll rewrite it later. Ordered by release date.

- 東方泡沫天獄 (2008-12-29)
Concept album, containing drama tracks and an overarching plot featuring Marisa and Nitori staying out late in Gensoukyou, read as a type of fanfic in the style of a musical play by inhabitants of Gensoukyou. The "Touhou Bubble" mentioned throughout the album, is a parody of the Japanese Bubble. According to an entry of the IOSYS blog, this arranger has placed importance on song, performance and voice in order to express a narrative. - Touhou Wiki

The concept behind this album is that the residents of Gensokyo have come to learn of the doujin culture and market when it has been forgotten in the outside (or our) world. Additionally, the official website features Yukari outside of Tokyo Big Sight. - Touhou Wiki

- 鉱石ラジヲ (2012-09-09)
It’s a Hifuu CD. My sister and Comp wrote the lyrics. Hifuu is too deep for me to handle, but it was fun to analyse the words and sing them. This album includes a prologue and an epilogue, and radio noises play between the songs; all these little details are great. - Ranko; text from Tiramisu Cowboy
- 辿/誘 (2012-12-30)

The album was releasing alongside a supplemental work called dappo-nmnq which gives additional insight into the thinking behind the album and it's world view. It contains short works of fiction (stories or manga) for each of the album's tracks, the work as a whole is themed around the idea that Gensokyo is the land that dead people dream of. - Touhou Wiki

Along with the album announcement, a visual novel with the same title was open to public.
